In my spare time I often like to explore the past and visit it through photo restoration. To me the restoration process is like a puzzle. And once the puzzle is solved, I like to see the reactions of the people who know the photograph, location or people in picture. The photo above, taken in 1915, of the railroad depot in downtown Mansfield, Texas which no longer exists. I was able to restore and colorize the photograph to give it extra dimension and life. The second photo is a 1973 family photo of my Dad’s junior high football team. This was the first photo I colored and my entire family has enjoyed looking at it.
